Does anyone know why I am routinely getting kicked out as “session expired” after approx. an hour when I am in the middle of working. I have been renaming and captioning large image banks and it routinely happens when I am halfway through typing a sentence. It’s getting annoying!Is this because I am using a starter edition at the moment - I am intending to upgrade when I hit 5GB but don’t want to see this as an issue constantly when I want to work for more than an hour at a time.Thanks
As a new user of Starter I am exploring and trying out all the features and functions.Bulk editing is very important to me but I cannot get it to execute after setting the fields as I want them. I’ve tried a few times but no luck.It stays on this screen after I click “Yes, continue”:

There is no preview or rollback functionality and the updates will be done in the background and may take some time depending on the number of assets affected.The steps below only apply where the DC or MODS metadata template already exists on the assets you want to edit.1. How can one bulk add, or edit, the Description Field in Preservica Starter? I have no problem editing the MODS metadata with a bulk upload, but the Description Field is not included in the MODS schema, and I have to go into each file and manually paste a description into the asset. There has to be a better way! Thank you.
I am trying to get items to appear in the portal view. And I understand that I need to make sure all levels are public, from the item to the folder structure it is nested in. I go to the folder level, right click on the folder title, and scroll down and choose public (it is currently set to private) and then a box containing a large red dot and a message flashes on the screen and then disappears before I can read it or engage with the content and then when I right click the folder name again, I can see that access is still coded as “private”. What the heck is going on?

I am a brand new Starter Plus user and this is my first community post. After having uploaded 5 other folders without any issues, my attempts at two new folders were both met with “Ingest Aborted” messages. The folder contains only .TIFF files. It would be much nicer if there was more information provided as to “why” the Ingest failed. I am using the Chrome browser on my Mac.Any suggestions before I try calling a live support person (do they exist, or is support only with email?)Thank you.John in Seattle
