Hi Everyone,
I work in a municipal archives and am currently in the midst of a project to digitize all of our building plans, about 2000 of them. Once uploaded into Preservica, I would like to make these files public but only to our building department. They use the plans constantly and would benefit from the digital scans in the public portal.
Is it possible to allow access to the collection but only to a small group of people?

Are you using Starter? If so, then the answer is No. Assets/Folders are either Public or Private only. At higher paid levels of Preservica, it’s possible to make a collection accessible to only selected people. I’d like to see this function be part of Starter. I’d invite you to go to the top of this screen and click the Create Topic button, and then suggest this improvement. If enough people chime in with a thumbs-up, the developers might take it into consideration.
