For the past several days I have been getting an error when I try to download .csv templates for batch upload. I have the Dublin Core template from past ingests, but I don’t have the MODS one and was hoping to start using it. When I click Add > Download CSV Templates > Download, I get the “Download CSV templates” window, but there is an eternal purple “Loading” wheel, and a separate red error pops up on the lower right-hand side of my screen that says, “System error while generating the CSV list, please try again later.”
+6Hello, sorry to hear you’re experiencing an issue. Our Product team have advised that this is a known issue hopefully to be fixed in the 8.1 release, currently you will need a Manager role to do this. Past templates also will not work. This is covered in the RELEASE NOTES
Thank you, Rosie! Am I understanding correctly that the bulk upload templates that have existed before now are currently deprecated, or will they be deprecated with the 8.1 release? I have not been able to do bulk uploads using the same process I’ve used previously (forever loading even with small folder sizes).
+6Good morning. Yes you are correct. Any templates downloaded prior to the latest 8.0 release are no longer compatible and must be regenerated.
