Batch template error

For the past several days I have been getting an error when I try to download .csv templates for batch upload. I have the Dublin Core template from past ingests, but I don’t have the MODS one and was hoping to start using it. When I click Add > Download CSV Templates > Download, I get the “Download CSV templates” window, but there is an eternal purple “Loading” wheel, and a separate red error pops up on the lower right-hand side of my screen that says, “System error while generating the CSV list, please try again later.”

Hello, sorry to hear you’re experiencing an issue. Our Product team have advised that this is a known issue hopefully to be fixed in the 8.1 release, currently you will need a Manager role to do this. Past templates also will not work. This is covered in the RELEASE NOTES

Thank you, Rosie! Am I understanding correctly that the bulk upload templates that have existed before now are currently deprecated, or will they be deprecated with the 8.1 release? I have not been able to do bulk uploads using the same process I’ve used previously (forever loading even with small folder sizes).

Good morning. Yes you are correct. Any templates downloaded prior to the latest 8.0 release are no longer compatible and must be regenerated.
