Hi everyone,
It’s been some time since we posted release notes to the Community Hub but you will find them in this channel for each release going forward.
In the meantime I’m excited to share what we’ve been working on throughout a busy Q3, including a key release for a new connector coming to Preserve365!
Release: 25.9.2
Bulk Preservation for SharePoint Sites
Preserve365 now enables you to preserve all the records and list items of SharePoint sites easily and in bulk. This is especially useful if you have multiple sites that are no longer in use and you want to move them quickly into your Archive.
Rollout note: Bulk Preservation is currently being rolled out across customer tenancies. If you don’t see it yet, you can expect it to appear in your tenancy very soon.
Read the documentation: Bulk Preservation Actions
New Role Requirement: Actions Manager
To ensure security compliance and separation of concerns, Bulk Preservation requests can only be made by users with the new Preserve365 Actions Manager role.

Preserve365 for Outlook - Private preview
We’re excited to announce that Preserve365 for Outlook is now available in Private Preview. This new integration allows you to preserve Outlook emails directly into your Preservation Library, making it easier than ever to ensure compliance, support investigations, and manage records centrally.

Sensitivity Label to Security Tag Mapping Released into Production
This feature has now moved from Public Preview to Production. If you’d like a refresher, you can find the documentation here:
Sensitivity Label to Security Tag mappings in P365 | Community
Note: To configure Sensitivity Label to Security Tag mappings, you’ll need to grant the Entra permission SensitivityLabel.Read to the Preserve365 application. This enables the application to read your organisation’s Sensitivity Labels.
Granting this permission requires an Entra administrator. Full instructions are here:
Granting Additional Enterprise Application Permissions | Community
This permission is only required if you want to use this feature. No other functionality in Preserve365 is affected.
Improved handling of folder changes between SharePoint and Preservica
Preserve365 now supports continued archiving even when the folder structure in SharePoint and Preservica no longer match exactly.
Previously, any changes to folder structure could cause archiving requests to fail. With this update, files are ingested successfully into Preservica regardless of these changes.
What this means for you
- Folder structure changes in SharePoint: If a folder is moved in SharePoint, newly archived files will still go into the folder in Preservica in its original location.
- Folder structure changes in Preservica: If a folder has been moved within Preservica, Preserve365 will continue to send files to it, in its new location.
Thank you for your continued support and feedback, it helps shape where we go next. As always, if you have any questions or want to dive deeper into these updates, don’t hesitate to reach out at support@preservica.com or reply to us here and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Take care,
Sam
