Getting started with Starter
Whether you're a new user of Preservica Starter or just looking to understand more about what the system does, this training session will cover the fundamentals of digital preservation and how to use Starter to preserve digital your digital materials.
This training session will cover all the functions to get you started with Starter, including:
- Upload a folder containing files of different formats
- Uploading a zip file containing multiple assets
- Viewing Advanced Information about our preserved assets
- Manually adding metadata to our assets
- Using the recycle bin
- Making content publicly accessible
- Upload a folder with files and metadata in bulk
- Setting up and using Record Transfers
- Editing metadata in bulk
There will also be opportunities to ask questions and complete post-training activities.
