Does the Metadata Quality Check AI feature do subject heading reconciliation against known controlled vocabularies, like Library of Congress Subject Headings? This would be helpful for us in our remediation efforts.

@mmacinsky Thank you for this question,
As of today, Metadata Quality Check doesn't currently reconcile subject headings against external controlled vocabularies like LCSH — that's on our roadmap based on SIG feedback, but it's not available today. What it can do now is cluster similar/inconsistent Subject field values across your archive (e.g., variant spellings, casing, near-duplicates), show a confidence score per cluster, and let you review and apply a standardized value across all affected assets. It's a strong tool for cleaning up internal inconsistency, but matching against LCSH specifically would still need to happen on your end when choosing the standard value to apply.

I recommend giving this a try, hope this helps
