If you see a file in your Preservica Starter application called thumbs.db and don't know where it came from then please read on.

Thumbs.db is a file that holds thumbnail information and is used by Windows Explorer, this will exist as a hidden file in every folder in a Windows system. If you ingest a folder using a zip file then thumbs.db will be visible as there is no concept of hidden files in Preservica.

Our advice would be to delete this file as it does not contain useful information.
