I’m capturing photos from a Flickr site. This site allows me to download all of the photos in an album, which is nice, and that creates a zip file. I am not techy, and I’m a solo archivist, so there’s no one else to ask here, but it seems to me that the lovely metadata bulk feature won’t work with a zip file. True or not? If not, what do I need to do to get it to work?
+6I don’t know if it will work with zip or not (my guess is not) but if it doesn’t you should be able to just unzip the file. That should produce a folder that you can then ingest with your metadata as you would normally do.
