I’m using a trial version of Professional Edition. We have thousands of born-digital JPEGs from our campus photographers that have good embedded metadata. The ingest process exports some of the technical exif data, but nothing of use for staff or researchers needed for searching. Nothing in Description or Origin is copied/exported into corresponding Dublin Core fields to facilitate access.
What can be done to correct this? Does anyone have a method of exporting exif data into a CSV file that can be put into the DC template Preservica provides to import metadata during ingest?
