Practical training: Getting started with Starter

Whether you’re a new user of Preservica Starter or just looking to understand more about what the system does, this 1 hour training session will cover the fundamentals of digital preservation and how to use Starter to preserve digital your digital content. 

The session will cover:

• Upload a folder containing files of different formats
• Uploading a zip file containing multiple assets
• Viewing Advanced Information about our preserved assets
• Manually adding metadata to our assets
• Using the recycle bin
• Making our content publicly accessible
• Upload a folder with files and metadata in bulk
• Editing metadata in bulk*

There will also be opportunities to ask questions and complete post-training activities.
